Hi!
My name is Aaron …

I'm a versatile guitarist, bassist, and educator based in Jersey City, NJ. With nearly two decades of experience in the vibrant New York City music scene, I’ve had the opportunity to perform across North America and internationally—known for bringing high energy, rich tone, and precision to a wide range of musical styles.

Though my foundation is in jazz, I love blending genres—pulling in elements of blues, Latin, Brazilian, and rockabilly to create a dynamic and expressive sound. Whether I’m playing original jazz with Brasil Trio +1, holding down the low end on bass with the Brooklyn-based punk/rock band Yeled Zaiin, or picking up the banjo for Thoroughly Modern Millie off-Broadway, I strive to bring versatility and musicality to every project. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of performing and recording with incredible artists like Emmy Award-winner Lance Horne, Grammy winner Dan Pugach, Genji Siraisi (Groove Collective), bass virtuoso Teymur Phell, and Brazilian composer Guilherme Dias Gomes.

My performance résumé includes stages like the U.N. Assembly, NPR’s World Cafe, The Public Theater in NYC, and the Tarrytown Summer Jazz Festival, to name just a few. No matter the venue, my passion for music and connection through sound is always at the heart of what I do.

Today, I continue to perform, record, and teach in Jersey City—just across the river from NYC—and I’m currently working on several new projects slated to debut in early 2026.
